Ingredients

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
3 to 4 (1 pound) Gold'n Plump® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1 cup coarsely shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cans (8 ounces each) original-flavor refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly coat 13” x 9” baking pan with cooking spray.

Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, bell pepper, onion, and celery. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and set aside.

Whisk together soups, chicken broth, and milk in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. When warm, add cheese and whisk until melted.

Spoon about one-third of sauce (1 cup) into prepared pan.

Separate each can of crescent rolls into 8 pieces and place on cutting board. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of chicken mixture on top of each piece of dough. Bring two corners of short end of triangle up and over filling. Then bring corner of longer part of triangle up and over filling and dough, envelope-style, tucking end under bundle.

Arrange crescent bundles on sauce in pan. Spoon remaining sauce evenly over crescent bundles.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until tops of bundles are lightly browned and sauce is bubbly. For each serving, place two crescent bundles on plate and top with portion of sauce.
