Lemon Teriyaki Grilled Chicken

This lemon teriyaki grilled chicken is a taste-bud favorite and is easy to make.

Ingredients 

MARINADE
1/2 cup bottled teriyaki marinade
2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon pepper
CHICKEN
10 to 14 (3-1/2 pounds) Gold'n Plump® Chicken Drumsticks

Instructions 

Combine all marinade ingredients in a zip-seal plastic bag. Add chicken and seal bag. Refrigerate, turning bag occasionally, for at least 30 minutes or for up to 24 hours.

When you are ready to cook, prepare grill for medium indirect heat. Position grill rack about 6 inches above coals.

Remove chicken from bag. Set marinade aside.

Lightly oil grill rack and place chicken on it. Cover and grill, basting occasionally with marinade, for about 20 to 25 minutes on each side or until chicken is browned and thoroughly cooked. Discard marinade.

Variations 

Gold'n Plump® Bone-in Thighs may be substituted for Gold'n Plump® Chicken Drumsticks or use a combination of bone-in thighs and drumsticks.
